Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Eye Pencil review

Browsing the drugstores a few weeks ago, I came across Bourjois Contour Clubbing line. Available in range of metallic colors, many to chose from, great for finishing a  smokey look.
Bourjois claims it's waterproof formula is crease-resistent with a soft texture for easy application.
I wanted to try something different for a change, to replace the black eye liner I wear daily.

First impression:

I chose 45 Blue remix, which is a pretty metallic shade of turquoise. The appearance of the product is about as flash as it gets for an eye pencil, the color matching the pencil itself.

How it went:

The smooth formula makes it easy to apply and can be smudged within the first 5 minutes of application. It doesn't crease, as mentioned by Bourjois. Long lasting and water
It looks great!  The only thing i have to point out is that you might need to take care when sharpening the pencil, as it's so soft and breakable.

Conclusion:

I love the color but I don't think it's an everyday look. It's easy to apply and has a permanent spot in my make up bag!

Bourjois Mega Liner review

MEGA LINER

BOURJOIS

time to try out my new bourjous eye liner! although I prefer the classic liquid eyeliner, I thought this felt tip eyeliner by bourjois looked good. When I tried the tester I got a nice dark and good coverage.

First impression:

I like the neon pink lid, it really pops out in my make up bag and is day to find. In a bold silver printing it says it will give you a extra large flick and is long lasting.

How it went:

It took some getting used too using the felt tip, even though it has a fine ending, it is quite thick. But once I got the hang of it it did the job well. The only real problem I had with it that it doesn’t work well on eye shadow or any other kind of eye make up and on some days I had the impression that there wasn’t much coming out of there even though I hadn’t had it that long. It does pretty well with small amounts of water or rain.

Before:

After:

Conclusion:

Once I was used to using the felt tip, it was a good eyeliner. I haven’t really tried a thin line yet but somehow I know I won’t be able to do that with this one so it’s good to have another eyeliner handy.

Probably the worst kohl ever-review

A few months ago when I went to Brussel I picked up a Khol for Niki from the market. Thinking this was going to be a great product, we went on to try it out.

Here's a pic of  Niki without any eye makeup.

As she was applying the kohl, she mentioned it being smooth and easy to use, saying it spread well.

Looks great doesn't it?

Too bad this happens like 5seconds later...

That is literally as long as it took for this to happen. It was so bad, even if you only put on a small line above your eye, it wouldn't have worked out. After a while it even stared running down her face, but I'll spare her and not post those pictures because they really are dreadful.

So it looked good for 5seconds and then melted.
Would I recommend it? No Way.

Hi there! We all dread that moment our favourite make-up  item runs out and we have to go through the hassle of finding the same piece again or find something similar if they stopped making it.When my favourite eye-liner ran out I went to the same shop I bought it from (the Hema) to ,of course, find that they don't make that particular one any more :( I liked that one because it was a really good one.So I went to the kruidvat and started looking for a new eye liner.I tested a few and ended up with the Gosh eye liner pen, black. In the shop it looked great, the nice thick black line on my hand as a test looked perfect and  this for under €10! BUT,when I got home and actually used it I was really disappointed.I had to go over it 3-4 times before I had a nice black line that you couldn't  see the skin through. Definitely wouldn't recommend this one!
(On the picture I only drew one layer so you could see how inefficient the covering is)
