Hema Concealer stick

Everyone has the occasional spot or bags under there eye’s and on those occasions a good concealer is your weapon of choice. More often than not I have a hard time sleeping so almost constantly have bags under my eye’s.
Today I’ll be showing you the benefits of Hema’s Concealer stick.

First Impression:
Typically for Hema the packaging is clean and simple without any fuss, which is something I like about Hema, they are very recognisable. The concealer itself is scentless and available in a range of different shades.

How it went:
It’s quite a thick formula, which makes it harder to get a good coverage. The long tube makes it easy to hold and use. As for covering blemishes and redness it’s not always so great. I have a small red scar on my chin and I have to apply many layers to cover it up. My under-eye bags though, disappear.

Conclusion:
For barely €3 it’s not bad at all, although I won’t be buying it again. Because it’s so thick and creamy it’s harder to blend and I sometimes end up wiping it off by accident.

Phone Fashion

Fashion is a fun and ever changing thing. It used to be just about clothes, handbags and shoes, but these days it goes much further than that. So If we are dressing up our dogs, and glaming up our note pads, why not our phones?
Before I bought my Iphone I had a plain Nokia and always thought the Iphone covers and accessories where pretty and there was waaay more choice. So naturally when I bought an Iphone it became my mission to find some phone fashion!

When I came across these button stickers at Claire's I knew I needed these in my collection of ever growing phone fashion accessories. I was a bit worried about the stickers coming loose, but they where actually really good. I kept the first sticker for about three months before I took it off and that was only because the silver paint was coming off. When applying the stickers we did come across a problem that could potentially cost you money, as you can see on the picture, when you hold down the button, it goes to Voice Control. This has happend many times since in my handbag when wandering about, my phone gets pressed up against other items and sets it of. My dog Rex has made calls sitting on my phone too...

The possibility's are endless when it comes to phone fashion!

John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day straight spray review

On my last few visits to England I had heard of the John Frieda Frizz ease collection and soon after there where advertisements here in Belgium. So decided to try it, I love straight hair and always wish it would just stay straight. I got the John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day straight spray and the Frizz Ease Hair Serum Original Formula and after reading the instructions I was enthusiastic.
The spray claims to transform curly, frizzy hair into a straight, smooth style that lasts up to 3 days or until your next shampoo if less than 3 days and serum promises to correct moderate frizz for polished smooth hair and daily use helps prevent future frizz.

First impression:

I was intrigued alright, imagine, not having to straighten your hair every day... Both bottles had a cool look to them and the typical for John Frieda look.

How it went:

Now, I don't really have curly hair , it's wavy and never stays straight for very long. But I figured if this stuff can keep curly hair straight, it's got to work on me! I tried the serum on it's own for a week,  applying sparingly on wet or towel dried hair without rinsing, blow-drying it and styling it.  After that I tried the serum in combination with the spray. The spray is to be used on damp or towel dried hair, starting with 7-9sprays throughout your hair and to use more or less depending on your curls. After I blow-dried my hair, I straightened it and felt straight away my hair was slightly silkier and frizz free. On the second day my hair was surprisingly still straight and tidy there was no need to straighten it again, just a quick brush. I did try not to wash my hair three days for the purpose of this review and it was somewhat straight but also ready for a wash.

Conclusion:

I'm really pleased with the result. It gave me a natural glossy shine without making my hair oily and kept my hair straight and frizz free for the next few days, saving me time styling my hair in the mornings. The John Frieda line is slightly pricier then other products I have used previously but it was money well spent. A well deserved 9/10

London Baby! Part 2

LDN.

You might have read about an upcoming shopping trip to London a few weeks ago, as promised, here I am telling you all about it. About a month ago I booked my friend and myself two tickets from Continental Tours for a day trip to London. I've been on a day trip to London with them before a few years ago and remembered how little time we had. But looking at the brochure and seeing we had 6hours shopping time I thought we would be ok...Nope. There was no where near enough time to shop the entire Oxford street!! We had time for lunch ( after a 4 hour and a half drive we we're starving!), we went to the Primark, River Island, TopShop, Bershka and Ann Summers..And after that we had to RUN, Like literally run to catch our bus back! Conclusion, it was one big rushed day and next time we will come over for longer. Now, for the good part, what did I buy:
